The Faith Lutheran football team scored on its initial four possessions Friday against visiting Pahrump Valley and also blocked three punts in a 50-0 victory.

Greg Benson completed 12-of-14 passes for 232 yards and four touchdowns to help the Crusaders win their homecoming game.

“We are really taking it one game at a time,” Faith Lutheran coach Jake Kothe said. “We have been trying to control what we can control, which is how we are playing and taking care of the football.”

Faith Lutheran (4-3 overall, 2-1 league) had no troubles scoring, including a 66-yard rushing touchdown for sophomore Mark Rubalcaba. Anthony Pryatel-Farmer had eight receptions for 159 yards and a touchdown.
