Coroner identifies man who died in house fire

The Clark County Coroner’s Office identified a man who died in a downtown house fire on Wednesday as 36-year-old Reginald Jean Frisner Michel.

Firefighters found Michel, 36, dead in a second-floor bedroom in the house at 632 N. Ninth St., Las Vegas Fire and Rescue spokesman Tim Szymanski said.

The fire was confined to the bedroom, and caused $75,000 damage to the home, which was split into upstairs and downstairs apartments, Szymanski said.

The coroner ruled the death accidental.
