Heavy smoke from a recreational vehicle fire Thursday afternoon in Paradise Valley could be seen billowing in the sky in Green Valley.

A thick column of black smoke from a fire could be seen billowing toward the sky near Spencer Street and Robindale Road around 2:40 p.m. Thursday.

While the smoke looked ominous, Clark County spokeswoman Stacey Welling said it was from an RV vehicle that caught fire 15 feet from a building located at 1852 Eldorado Lane.

Welling said the fire was confined to the RV, and the Clark County Fire Department extinguished the flames. No one was injured in the incident.
