Portions of Las Vegas Boulevard, from Tonopah Avenue to Craig Road, will have lane reductions for a Nevada Department of Transportation drilling project on Wednesday and Thursday.
NDOT officials will close sections of the right lanes and bus lanes in both directions for 20 to 30 minutes at a time from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both days. NDOT workers are performing soil extractions to determine the type of materials to use in future repaving of Las Vegas Boulevard.
Two lanes will remain open in both directions.
