Apartment fire
Firefighters quickly subdued flames in an apartment early Sunday and prevented the fire from spreading.
Fire crews sped to the blaze about 3:45 a.m. at 2785 Twistingbow Lane, near Vegas Valley Drive and Mountain Vista Street, Clark County said in a news release.
Crews worked to contain the fire in a second-story apartment. Firefighters cut holes in the roof and used multiple hoses to bring the blaze under control.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, the county said. The damage is estimated at $75,000.
Three people were displaced by the fire, but none was injured, the county said.
