Car accident
Three people were taken to the hospital with serious injuries Monday after an SUV and a car collided in the southwest Las Vegas Valley.
Around 1:40 p.m. Metro Police were called to a collision between a silver SUV and a black Hyundai Elantra near Decatur Boulevard and Warm Springs Road, police said.
Northbound and southbound lanes of Decatur Boulevard near Eldorado Lane were closed while police investigated, police said.
Three people were taken to University Medical Center with serious injuries, police said.
Roadways have reopened, police said. No further information on the crash was immediately available.
