Armed robbery
Metro Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two armed men who entered a convenience store Monday wearing ski masks, one of whom pointed a gun at a customer’s head and stole his wallet.
The robbery occurred around 5:20 a.m. near Sahara Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard, police said.
The store clerk fled into the back office when the men approached, police said.
During the robbery one of the suspects placed a gun against a customer’s head and took his wallet, police said. Both suspects fled the area in a brown van.
One of the suspects is described as a Hispanic man, wearing a black ski mask, a white shirt with a black design on it, blue jeans and black and white shoes, police said.
The second man is described as a white male wearing a white ski mask, a blue shirt with white writing on the left side, black jeans and black and white shoes, police said.
Both men are described as being 5feet 8 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing from 160 to 185 pounds, police said.
