House fire
Henderson firefighters extinguished a blaze that caused $80,000 in damage and displaced a family of three.
The Henderson Fire Department was called at 11:58 a.m. to a house fire on Elm Street, near Lake Mead Parkway and Warm Springs Road, fire officials said.
The Red Cross is assisting a family of three and their three pets displaced by the fire, fire officials said. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation though fire officials determined the blaze to be accidental.
