Pickup Artist Richard La Ruina’s book has a deceptive title. It’s called The Natural: How to Effortlessly Attract the Women You Want. The subtext is, this book is different from those other books on picking up women. Those books ask you to put on a fake persona and use prepackaged lines, but not this one. This book teaches you to pick up women by being yourself.
The Details
- The Natural: How to Effortlessly Attract the Women You Want
Totally untrue. And La Ruina admits this much, subtly, on Page 13: “I realized pretty quickly that my goal should be to ‘game’ not like a typical pickup artist, but like a ‘natural.’” Catch that? La Ruina isn’t advocating that you be natural; he’s advocating that you ‘game women like a natural.’ In other words, pretend you’re being natural. Which is the same thing all pickup artists recommend.
La Ruina’s book offers nothing new. You’ll find the exact same stuff in The Game and in Mystery Method. To be clear, this stuff is good. But if you want to learn it, why not go straight to the source?
