Metro Police say a motorcyclist was killed in an accident with a truck at Alexander and Bradley roads in the northwest valley Friday afternoon.
The motorcycle collided with a white Nissan Frontier at 1:51 p.m., Metro Lt. Walter Dodds said.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene; the driver of the Nissan and a passenger in the car were not injured, police said.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing, and the intersection will be closed for a couple hours, police said.

Amazing that some still choose to ride in this town. Dropping like flies. I must be seeing 2 per week dead.

Sympathies to the family and friends.
Two wheeler's just can't seem to get a break this year!
Everyone in cars, trucks and motorcycles needs to get their heads in the game while driving!
That's what Chunky thinks!
My wife and a neighbor were the first on the scene and rendered CPR. Very sad situation. I really just want to know who the rider was. There was absolutely nothing more that could have been done for this man, but I would really just love to give the family a hug and let them know that my wife did her best to try to bring the man back. He was gone on impact, but she still tried so hard! God bless the family!
