U.S. Bank branch robbed
Henderson Police are searching for a man who robbed a U.S. Bank branch Monday afternoon inside a grocery store near Windmill Parkway and Pecos Road, officials said.
Police said the man entered the Vons grocery store, 2667 Windmill Parkway, about 3:45 p.m. Monday and showed a teller a note.
The note demanded money and said the suspect had a gun, police said. The teller gave the man an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect never showed a weapon, and he fled as soon as he received the cash, police said. No one was injured during the robbery.
Authorities described the suspect as a white or Hispanic man in his 50s, who is about 5-feet-8-inches tall with an average build. He has a scruffy face and was wearing sunglasses, a red shirt, black pants and a black baseball hat at the time of the roberry.
