Bally’s will serve as the main site for the World Food Championships this fall.
The four-day food fight, which announced last spring it would be in Las Vegas, will see hundreds of amateur and professional chefs at Bally’s square off for a total prize pool of $300,000.
Hosted by Travel Channel star Adam Richman of “Man vs. Food,” the championships Nov. 1-4 feature cook-offs in seven categories: barbecue, chili, burger, sandwich, champion’s challenge, side dish and chef’s challenge.
The celebrity and people’s choice competitions, meanwhile, will heat up next door at Paris Las Vegas.
The champions from each category will meet Nov. 4 for the main event, called the Final Table, in front of Caesars Palace.
“The competition will transform a section of Las Vegas Boulevard, with events spread across three resorts, creating one of the largest food competitions this city has ever seen,” said Jeffrey Frederick, vice president of food and beverage for Bally’s.
