Revelers share their resolutions

Some New Year's Eve revelers in Las Vegas had big dreams Saturday night. For some, their hopes for 2012 were more modest. Las Vegas Sun reporters collected a handful of resolutions from partyers willing to share them on Fremont Street and the Strip

"I don't believe in resolutions. I believe in good habits all the time," said Nicole Critzer of Eugene, Ore.

"Just to be the best mom I can be," said Dawn Stephans of Holland, Mich.

"My resolution is to get custody of my kids. That's all I'm going for this year," said Scott Davey of Las Vegas.

"To continue a healthy lifestyle — eating healthy, fruits and vegetables," said Debbie Smith of Garden City, Mich.

"I don't make new year's resolutions. The world should change to fit me,” said Billy Culhane of Reno.

“Stay out of trouble and finish high school,” said Trevor Loyd of Henderson.

"My resolution is to have my first amateur MMA fight,” said Stacy Reyes of Los Angeles.

"Quit smoking," said James Ballentine of Las Vegas.

“I want to learn how to do a handstand,” said Aaron Ford of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.

“Stay married,” said Jennifer Ogden of Menifee, Calif.

“Quit gambling,” said Bill Sheetz of Charlotte, N.C.

“Learn to ride a bike; I’m almost 30,” said Monica Decoss of Mexico.
