A fire early today did about $10,000 damage to a vacant house in the northeast valley, the Clark County Fire Department said.
Firefighters found several small fires had been set inside the single-story house in the 1900 block of Hubbell Street, near East Lake Mead and North Hollywood boulevards, fire officials said.
The fire was reported at 4:32 a.m. by callers who saw smoke coming from the windows of the house, which was mostly empty, officials said. Firefighters from Clark County and North Las Vegas responded to the blaze.
The fire is under investigation.
