Two found dead after fire in mobile home

Firefighters extinguished a blaze at a mobile home in the Miracle Mile Mobile Home Park on Boulder Highway Tuesday, Dec. 25.

Two people are dead after a fire burned the bedroom they were in on Christmas morning.

Firefighters were called to reports of a mobile home on fire at about 7 a.m. Dec. 25, according to a release from the Clark County Fire Department. They went to the Miracle Mile Mobile Home Park at 3642 Boulder Highway where, in space 17A, heavy flames were seen in the rear of and underneath the mobile home, which was approximately 40 years old.

The blaze was under control at 7:22 a.m., according to the report. The bodies of two adults were found in the master bedroom. Their names have not been released.

The incident remains under investigation.
