Two adults and their three dogs were displaced from their home after a fire started in their bedroom.
Firefighters arrived at the home around 7:15 p.m. at 5000 Drifting Creek Ave. near Decatur Boulevard and the 215 Beltway in the northern valley, Las Vegas Fire & Rescue said.
The fire in the two-story home was knocked out in less than five minutes and confined to the bedroom. Fire officials said the damage was about $50,000.
The fire appeared to be accidental, and could possibly have been started by incense that was being burned in the house, fire officials said.
