Some lanes on Interstate 15 will be closed through Friday morning as crews work on the North 5th Street Bridge, North Las Vegas officials announced Monday.
One or two northbound and southbound lanes on I-15 will be closed between Cheyenne Avenue and Lake Mead Boulevard from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday night to Friday morning. The lane reductions are necessary for Target Construction crews to erect girders and install deck forms for the bridge project.
The $30 million project is part of the larger North 5th Street Arterial Project, which is funded by the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada. The bridge is expected to be finished in 2013.
