Safe-deposit box business robbed
A robbery this past weekend at a private safe-deposit box business has left Metro Police and the business trying to identify victims.
At 5:15 a.m. Saturday, three masked men entered the 24/7 Private Vaults, 3110 E. Sunset Road, where they restrained an employee and stole contents from safe-deposit boxes, police reported today.
The business operates on anonymity and doesn’t know the safe-deposit box owners, so police are urging owners to report losses, authorities said. Safe-deposit box owners can contact 24/7 Private Vaults first to see whether their box was accessed during the crime, police said.
Victims then can report their losses to Metro's robbery section at 702-828-3591.
