A driver who police say was speeding and driving on sidewalks in an area just west of the Las Vegas Strip was arrested this afternoon after being tracked for 90 minutes.
Police were called around 1:47 p.m. to Flamingo Road and Dean Martin Drive, where a person driving a dark blue Chevrolet pickup truck was seen driving recklessly, police said.
Helicopter and ground units monitored the vehicle from a distance before the incident came to an end around 3:15 p.m. near Lamb Boulevard and Stewart Avenue, police said.
