Eddie Vedder fans, put away your party pants.
The Pearl Jam rocker announced today that he’s postponing his 15-city U.S. solo tour, scheduled to kick off April 10-11 at the Pearl at the Palms. Temporary nerve damage in Vedder’s right arm from a previous back injury was blamed for the postponement, with dates rescheduled for the fall.
Pearl Jam manager Kelly Curtis said that Vedder “worked aggressively with doctors and physical therapists” in an effort to heal the injury and maintain his tour dates. “There was hope up until the last minute that the treatments would be successful,” Curtis said via release. “Sincerest apologies go out to those who have made plans and bought tickets. Eddie is frustrated beyond measure, but remains positive that come this summer all will be back in good form."
Vedder’s dates at the Palms have been rescheduled for October 31 and November 1, with tickets honored for the new dates and refunds available by request at point-of-purchase.
