Henderson’s ArtBeat concert series will kick off its fall season this weekend with a performance by Peace Frog, a tribute band in the style of 1960s rockers the Doors.
The event starts at 8 p.m. Friday at the Henderson Events Plaza, 200 S. Water St.
The Venice Beach, Calif.-based Peace Frog has been playing classic Doors songs for the past 14 years. The band has traveled the world performing its tribute act and has shared the stage with several of the original members of the Doors.
Friday’s performance is the first of five in the ArtBeat series, which runs through October.
The event is free and open to the public.
