I thought President Barack Obama’s speech Thursday on jobs was terrific. It should be obvious that he is doing everything he possibly can to help the unemployed and underemployed.
If the proposed jobs legislation is not passed, it will be thanks to Republicans. They care more about discrediting and humiliating this president and their own political gain than they do about the country and the millions of people who need help.
I can’t wait for the next election when there will be more Democrats and fewer Republicans elected — and when I can also celebrate President Obama’s re-election.
