Deadmau5 (aka Joel Zimmerman) shows off a fresh tat from Mario Barth done at the Mirage’s King Ink.

How does Deadmau5 kill time in Vegas? Well, over Labor Day weekend, while in town for back-to-back shows as part of his Meowingtons Hax Tour (really), the DJ known mau5-headless as Joel Zimmerman managed to tear himself away from the Cosmopolitan long enough to spend some time under the gun at the Mirage.
Ahoy, Davy!
That would be Mario Barth’s tattoo gun, of course. Zimmerman hit King Ink on Saturday and Monday with girlfriend and Playboy Playmate Lindsay Gayle Evans so Barth himself could add a bit of color to Zimmerman’s boring flesh-colored right arm.
The results? Zimmerman took home a sleeve complete with raver pixie girl in cherry red heels and mau5 ears (what else?), as well as a large squid-like thing reminiscent of the Davy Jones character in Pirates of the Caribbean. Someone please tell me he has a wheel of cheese tattooed on there somewhere.
