Road work
Sun Coverage
Traffic will be restricted on Torrey Pines Drive in northwest Las Vegas for the next two months, city officials said.
The road will be reduced to one lane in each direction between U.S. 95 and Cheyenne Avenue beginning Wednesday and continuing until late November.
The lane reduction will allow crews to perform a preventative maintenance project to extend the life of the roadway, the city said.
Motorists might want to avoid Torrey Pines and use Rainbow or Jones boulevards as alternatives.
The contractor for the project is Las Vegas Paving. Funding comes from the city and the Regional Transportation Commission.
