Multiple car accidents on the Las Vegas Beltway caused lane closures and congested traffic Friday morning.
Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Loy Hixon said three accidents were causing backups on the highway as of 9 a.m.
In Henderson, a crash that happened at 8:48 a.m. northbound on the beltway at the Eastern Avenue exit blocked the two far left lanes.
Another collision in Las Vegas near the Cheyenne Avenue closed the far left southbound lane, and at Windmill Lane an accident left the far left westbound travel lane stopped up.
Hixon said to expect delays until the accidents are cleared.
