Metro Police and NV Energy responded to the scene of an accident in the southwest valley involving a vehicle striking a power pole.
Police said the accident happened at 8:05 a.m. near the intersection of Jones Boulevard and Russell Road. Power lines down in the area, officials said.
There are no reports of serious injuries, police said.
NV Energy spokeswoman Jennifer Schuricht said about 245 customers in that area were without power, but crews are working to restore it.
