County to hold public auction of surplus goods on Saturday

Clark County and other public agencies are holding the first government surplus auction of 2011 on Saturday at a county storage lot, 4320 Stephanie St., near Flamingo Road.

The auction will feature about 150 vehicles and 250 lots of miscellaneous property such as computers or other office equipment, the county said in a news release. It will start at 9 a.m.

The public is invited to preview the items for sale any time between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday at the storage lot. Those interested may also pre-register as a bidder at that time.

The county's other auctions are planned for May 21 and Nov. 19.
