Police seek man in Henderson bank robbery

Henderson Police are searching for a man who robbed a U.S. Bank branch Wednesday in the Anthem area.

Police said the unarmed man entered the bank at 10565 S. Eastern Ave. at about 12:15 p.m. and handed a note to a teller demanding money.

The teller removed money from a drawer and handed it to the robber, who then fled the scene, police said. No one was injured.

The robber was described as white and in his 50s. He was last seen wearing black sunglasses, blue jeans, a dark gray T-shirt, a large round straw hat and yellow work gloves.

Anyone with information is being asked to call Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
