An armed security guard inside an indoor swap meet on East Tropicana Avenue fired his gun Monday evening at a man after being pepper-sprayed.
Police received a call about the incident at 6:24 p.m. at 4440 E. Tropicana Ave.
Authorities said the suspect entered the swap meet and immediately sprayed the guard, then fled out the doors in the direction of a vehicle, although the driver of the vehicle drove off without him.
The security guard fired a shot at the suspect as he ran away. It was unknown whether the bullet struck the man.
