Sewer project still delaying Decatur traffic

Sewer project

A sewer project is still restricting traffic on Decatur Boulevard, the Clark County Water Reclamation District said.

Crews are working on a sewer rehabilitation project along Decatur Boulevard between Sirius Avenue/Palmyra Avenue and Edna Avenue. Work in the area began disrupting traffic in February.

Officials said the both directions of Decatur Boulevard would continue having lane restrictions between Sirius Avenue and Palmyra Avenue until at least Sept. 30.

Parts of Palmyra and Sirius avenues were previously closed, and may have temporary restrictions again, officials said.

Crews will be working from 6 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays.

Sewer service should not be interrupted for residents of the area, officials said.

For more information and traffic updates, motorists can call the reclamation district at 668-8668.
