Metro Police said a female body was found Thursday morning in the desert near Lake Las Vegas.
Police said the young woman's body was partially clothed, but that the initial investigation shows no evidence of trauma on the body or of foul play. There are indications the woman began walking in the desert after her vehicle had a flat tire.
The identity of the woman and further details of her death will be released by the Clark County coroner's office.
