1416 F Street near Jackson Avenue
The man shot to death Sunday evening at an apartment complex on F Street has been identified as 43-year-old Robert James Hicks, according to the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
Hicks, a North Las Vegas resident, died from a gunshot wound to the neck at the Island Court Apartments. His death was ruled a homicide.
Metro Police responded at 4:44 p.m. to 1416 F Street near Jackson Avenue. Upon arriving, police found the man lying outside a fenced area surrounding the apartment complex.
Hicks was pronounced dead by medical personnel.
The suspect, who fled the scene, is described as a 5-foot-9 black man who is about 25 years old. He was last seen wearing a red T-shirt and blue suede shoes.
