It may be wise to avoid southbound Interstate 15 in the southern valley for the next few nights.
The three left lanes of the freeway will be closed Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Monday night, transportation officials said.
The lanes will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night between the railroad tracks, south of Russell Road, to Sunset Road.
The area is part of the interstate under construction for the I-15 Design-Build South Project, which is to is widen the freeway from Blue Diamond Road to Tropicana Avenue.
Crews will be repaving the lanes during this closure.
