Nye County officials have arrested two men allegedly linked to a rock-throwing incident last week that severely injured a 20-year-old woman.

Timothy Michael Hanahan, 23, and Kevin Thomas Hannah, 20, were arrested Tuesday and taken to the Nye County Detention Center, where they are being held without bail.

Officials said the incident, which appears to have been planned, happened about 5 p.m. Thursday at a service station near Highway 372 and Blagg Road in Pahrump.

Authorities said a 27-year-old man had driven his vehicle to the service station, where someone allegedly threw a rock through the windshield, which struck his female passenger.

The woman was taken by helicopter to University Medical Center's trauma unit with severe injuries to the head, officials said. She was listed in critical condition last week.

Reports from witnesses helped detectives identify the three suspects as Hanahan, Hannah and 23-year-old David Neil Taylor, who hasn't been found, officials said.

Hanahan and Hannah were arrested in connection with accessory to attempted murder, accessory to assault with a deadly weapon and accessory to battery with a deadly weapon in connection with the alleged crime.

Taylor is wanted on charges of attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, battery with a deadly weapon and intimidating a witnesses in connection with the incident, officials said.

Authorities didn't say where they apprehended Hanahan and Hannah. Detectives are tracking several leads as the search continues for Taylor, officials said.
