A grand jury today returned an indictment against Jason Griffith in the death of his ex-girlfriend, Debora Flores Narvaez, a dancer in Luxor's "Fantasy" show.

Flores Narvaez's body was found last month dismembered and encased in concrete inside plastic tubs at an apartment near Bonanza Road and Las Vegas Boulevard.

The grand jury indicted Griffith on one count of murder.

The dancer's disappearance in mid-December set off a massive hunt for her, which attracted national attention. Flores Narvaez was last seen Dec. 12 leaving her apartment near Las Vegas Boulevard and Tropicana Avenue.

She apparently died that evening while at Griffith's residence.

Griffith allegedly strangled Flores Narvaez during an argument, then enlisted the help of his roommate to hide the body, authorities said. Griffith tried to leave her remains at a couple of locations before finally discarding them in an apartment whose occupants were out of town.

Authorities allege Griffith dismembered Flores Narvaez's body at the empty apartment and placed the remains in two plastic tubs.

A tip and a subsequent interview with Griffith's roommate, Louis Colombo, led police to Flores Narvaez's remains.

Police arrested Griffith Jan. 7 at the Mirage hotel-casino, where he worked as a performer in Cirque du Soleil's "Love" show.
