Clark County’s building and fire departments are holding a town hall meeting from 4 to 6 p.m. on Feb. 16 at the Hollywood Recreation Center, where a panel will discuss new developments in both departments.
Topics include the county’s new fire chief, Bertral Washington, proposed changes for fire department fees, and an update on new guidelines for cooperation between the building and fire departments. There will also be a question-and-answer session.
Panel members include Washingon, his deputy fire chiefs, and staff from development services. Anyone, including contractors, developers, homeowners and business owners, are encouraged to attend.
