Metro Police homicide detectives are investigating the death of a 20-year-old North Las Vegas man whose body was found wrapped in plastic Thursday morning in northeast Las Vegas.
Police say patrol officers discovered the body of David Pettis at 10:05 a.m. in the 5400 block of Reflex Drive, along a short roadway near a construction equipment storage yard.
Authorities have not released information about the cause of Pettis' death, but say they are preliminarily investigating the death as a homicide.
