Metro Police released surveillance video images of a man who robbed a bank Monday in the southern Las Vegas Valley.

Police said the man entered a bank about 4:50 p.m. near Blue Diamond Road and Decatur Boulevard, then approached the teller while talking on a cell phone. Police didn't identify the bank.

He placed a note demanding money on the counter and pointed a handgun at the teller, police said. He fled on foot after the teller complied.

Authorities described him as a 25- to 35-year-old black man who is about 5-feet-10-inches tall and 155 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black ball cap, sunglasses, a dark blue polo shirt with stripes and blue jeans.
