Battle of the Brushes at Blush Makeup artists from Kim Vo Salon, Square Colour Salon + Spa and the spas and salons at Encore, Vdara, Aria and the Rio go head-to-head Thursday night for Rain Cosmetics’ “Cartoon Time Machine”-themed makeup competition. Holly’s World and Absinthe star Angel Porrino hosts. August 25, doors at 9 p.m., $30 men, $20 women, local ladies free.

Gabriel & Dresden at Marquee After a three-year hiatus, DJ duo Gabriel & Dresden have reunited and are back on the EDM circuit. The twosome boasts 17 chart-topping tracks and seven International Dance Music awards. Catch their highly anticipated live set at the Cosmo club Friday night. August 26, doors at 9:30 p.m., $30 men, $20 women, local ladies free.

JWoww at Pure If you missed Snooki and Ronnie last weekend while they were hosting events in the city, here’s another chance to party with a Jersey Shore star and her ridiculous cleavage. August 26, doors at 10 p.m., $30 men, $20 women.

Cirque de Stylz at Rain Palms resident DJ Mark Stylz presents a three-ring edition of Rain’s weekly Clash! electro party. The event features the Danseurs Rythme with live musicians including Rico DeLargo and Justin Barns, along with a live performance by Chanel of the MTV series Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory. August 26, doors at 11 p.m., $40, local ladies free.

Black & White Party at The Cosmopolitan Aid for AIDS of Nevada (AFAN) celebrates the silver anniversary of its annual fundraising party. Don your best black and white and head to the Cosmopolitan’s Boulevard Pool Saturday to sip on cocktails, savor cuisine samplings and watch performers from the cast of Lê Reve—all while supporting an extremely worthy cause. Proceeds will help AFAN fight HIV/AIDS in Southern Nevada. August 27, 9 p.m., $35 in advance, $40 at the door.

Reality Star Bash at Gold Join a group of reality TV stars at the Aria lounge when they gather for local adultery-outing website cheaterville.com’s Saturday night bash. And with Jersey Shore drama queen Angelina on the “celebrity” roster, we at Weekly aren’t sure if that “bash” means a party or an evening to, um, bash the hosting “stars.” Cast members from Saddle Ranch, The Bachelor’s Jessie Sulidis and Robb Zbacnik from Survivor also made the list. August 27, 10 p.m., $20 men, $10 women.

Kelly Rowland at Chateau Rowland has scored more than a few club hits since her time with Destiny’s Child. Among them are the single “Like This” from her sophomore solo album and two collaborations with French superstar DJ David Guetta (“When Love Takes Over” and “Commander”). Rowland takes the stage at the Paris hot spot Saturday night. August 27, doors at 10 p.m., $30 men, $20 women.
