If you’re into local music, the next few weeks were built for you. Labor Day weekend will see around 40 bands—many of them Vegas-based—congregate near UNLV for the three-day Maryland Parkway Music Festival. One week later, the twice-annual Neon Reverb festival returns, bringing its usual emphasis on homegrown music back to the clubs of Downtown. And kicking it off, FM station 107.9 The Alternative celebrates the fifth anniversary of its Sunday-night local show this weekend at the Royal Resort.
Calendar
