Metro Police officials are asking for the public’s help in tracking down a man who robbed a north valley business last month.
The robbery occurred at about 5:20 p.m. July 28 at a business near Craig Road and Nellis Boulevard.
The robber waited for patrons to exit the store before approaching the counter, pointing a gun at a clerk and demanding money, police said. The man then fled the business, police said.
The suspect is described as a 16 to 18 year old black male, about 5-feet-8-inches tall and weighing 130 pounds. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a black UNLV baseball cap, a white shirt and khaki shorts.
Police are asking anyone with information to call Metro’s robbery section at (702) 828-3591 or, to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555 or crimestoppersofnv.com.
