Police are looking for a man who robbed a bank Friday morning in northwest Las Vegas.

The man entered the bank in the 4400 block of North Rancho Drive, which is at Craig Road, at about 10:30 a.m., police said.

The robber approached a teller and demanded money while patting his waistband, as if he had a weapon, police said. He then put a black backpack on the counter, into which he placed the money handed over by the teller.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man between 25 and 30 years old, and 5-feet-5-inches or 5-feet-6-inches tall with a medium build and short hair. Police said he was wearing a blue Dodgers baseball cap and a long-sleeve shirt.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact Metro’s Robbery Section at 828-3591 or, to remain anonymous, Crime stoppers at 385-5555 or www.crimestoppersofnv.com.
