More changes are coming to the ramps on Interstate 15 in the southern valley, this time affecting access to the freeway from the Las Vegas Beltway and Las Vegas Boulevard.

Some of the ramps will be closed for nine months, and the ramp from the westbound beltway to northbound I-15 will be temporarily moved.

The changes are part of the I-15 Design-Build Project South, which is widening the freeway from Blue Diamond Road to Tropicana Avenue.

Project officials said the ramp from northbound I-15 to the westbound beltway will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday night for bridge work.

At the same time, the ramp from Las Vegas Boulevard to the westbound beltway will also be closed.

Then, beginning Tuesday evening, the ramp from Las Vegas Boulevard to northbound I-15 will be closed for about nine months as crews reconfigure the interchange.

Also beginning Tuesday, the ramp from the westbound beltway to northbound I-15 will move to a temporary ramp about 1,500 feet west of the current ramp.

The project began in February 2010 and is scheduled to end in March 2012.
