The Clark County Coroner’s Office has identified a man found dead with gunshot wounds Tuesday morning at a southwest valley condominium.
Brockithon Reed, 38, of Las Vegas, died from a gunshot wound to the chest, the coroner said. His death was ruled a homicide.
Reed was found about 8:25 a.m. Tuesday at the Bella Vita Condominiums on River Glen Drive near South Decatur Boulevard and West Harmon Avenue, police said.
Several hours earlier, at about 12:15 a.m., Metro patrol officers responded to the area to investigate a report of gunfire. At the time, officers were unable to find evidence of shots being fired, and witnesses were unable to direct them to the area of the sounds, police said.
Any connection between the two calls is part of the ongoing investigation, police said.
