Kristen Jurgenson is vice president of technology, marketing and promotion for ManagedPAY. Jurgenson, who has been with ManagedPAY for more than eight years, was payroll manager for the company. Before that, she worked for Midwest Construction, a general contracting firm in Las Vegas. She has a BS from the University of Evansville in Indiana.

Peter Brattander is director of beverage for the Mirage. Brattander was a consultant who helped open boutique restaurants and hotels. He also worked for MGM Grand from 2004 to 2008 as director of food and beverage. Brattander has a master’s in fine art from the Swedish National Academy of Fine Art.

Richard Worthington is a member of the board of trustees of Nathan Adelson Hospice. Worthington is president and chief operating officer of the Molasky Group of Companies. He also serves as an adviser to the El Cortez, chairman and president of the Downtown Las Vegas Alliance and board member of the Las Vegas chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

John Travassos was promoted to director of operations for Burke Construction Group’s West/Southwest regional office. Travassos was a senior project manager for the company.

James Shaughnessy is director of sales and marketing for Computer Troubleshooters of Las Vegas. Shaughnessy was a financial adviser for Dean Witter.

Daniel Pfeiffer is executive chef of the Silverton. Pfeiffer was executive chef and planning director for USC hospitality and executive chef of special events, catering and banquets at the University of Southern California. Pfeiffer has also worked for Station Casinos as executive chef at Palace Station and Boulder Station.

Susan Hescher is senior vice president and loan operations administrator and Brian Schumacher is vice president and SBA business development manager for Meadows Bank. Hescher was with Service1st Bank of Nevada in a similar capacity and Schumacher was with Plaza Bank. Roger Bulloch, managing principal of SPB Capital Partners, is a member of the board of directors for the bank.

Tiffani Gilmore is principal of the Imagine School at Mountain View. Gilmore was a kindergarten teacher at Andre Agassi College Preparatory Academy. Gilmore has a BS from the Marshall School of Business.

Dennis Neilander, former chairman of the Nevada Gaming Control Board, is counsel for Kaempfer Crowell, assisting the firm and its clients with administrative and legislative matters. Neilander’s 10-year tenure as chairman of the GCB was the longest in the board’s history. He was also president of the International Association of Gaming Regulators.

Shannon Carrick Wittenberger is an attorney in the health care and insurance practice areas of Jones Vargas. Wittenberger was an administrative law judge in the Division of Hearings and Appeals in Milwaukee. She was formerly an adjunct professor in the social and cultural science department of Marquette University in Milwaukee.

Caleb Adcock was promoted from senior associate to audit manager and Todd Crabtree was promoted from associate to a senior associate position for Piercy Bowler Taylor and Kern.

Irma Torkzadeh, Steven Esparza and Shyla Walton are sales associates for Windermere Prestige Properties. Torkzadeh was a sales associate with Century 21 Advantage Gold. Esparza was with the Portfolio Realty Group; and Walton was an intern with Jackson Claborn in Plano, TX.

George John Alexander, a board-certified plastic surgeon and cosmetic surgeon, is president-elect of the Clark County Medical Society. Alexander, who has a private practice in Summerlin, is the past chief of plastic surgery at MountainView Hospital and Mike O’Callaghan Federal Hospital.

Carole Fisher, the current president and CEO of Nathan Adelson Hospice, was appointed to the board of the Elisabeth Kubler-Ross Foundation.

Warren Hioki of the College of Southern Nevada was appointed to the Christopher Columbus Fellowship Foundation’s board.

Shannon Martin of Color Reflections is chairwoman, David Martin of Lotus Broadcasting is co-chairman and producer, DeAnne Sheehan of Lotus Broadcasting is founder and sponsorship chairwoman, Kelly Sheehan of Lotus Broadcasting is producer, Dirk Hanson of the Geary Co. is design and graphics chairman, Tracy Harven of the Orleans is silent auction chairwoman, Tami Belt of Blue Cube Marketing Solutions is public relations chair, and Carolyn Muse Grant of Safe Nest is liaison to the board of directors for the Advertising Community Talent Show.
