Cheyenne Avenue is open in both directions following a water main break Saturday afternoon that forced the road’s closure between Clayton and Simmons streets, North Las Vegas Police said.
Authorities weren’t sure why the water main broke. Water was spilling out from the buckled road Saturday afternoon.
The city shut down water near that part of Cheyenne Avenue as crews repaired the break.
