A man found dead Saturday night near the Sahara Avenue overpass of Interstate 15 had been fatally stabbed, according to the Clark County Coroner's Office, and officials have identified a person of interest in the case.
Marcus Goodman, 41, died from multiple blunt stab wounds, the coroner said. His death was ruled a homicide.
The person of interest was described as a Hispanic man, 30 to 40 years old with a medium build.
Authorities said he was last seen wearing glasses, a gray T-shirt with green lettering on the front and blue jeans. Police released a video clip Thursday in hopes that the public can help identify the man shown.
Police said an anonymous call to Metro dispatch led officers at 8:45 p.m. Saturday to the 2500 block of Highland Drive, where they found Goodman dead.
Anyone with information is asked to call Metro's homicide section at (702) 828-3521 or, to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555 or visit crimestoppersofnv.com.
