The Hank Greenspun School of Journalism and Media Studies at UNLV has hired Frank Mueller to serve as the general manager for student radio stations KUNV 91.5 FM and KUNV HD-2.
Mueller has served as the operations manager for KUNV for the past five years and is also a part-time instructor at the journalism and media studies school. Prior to moving to Las Vegas, Mueller was the operations manager overseeing KQMB and KSRR for MicroCommunications in the Salt Lake City area.
Mueller has also worked for Simmons Media Group in Salt Lake City and KYKN in Nephi, Utah. He has a broadcast journalism degree from Brigham Young University and a Master of Business Administration degree from UNLV.
KUNV was launched in April 1981. It offers an eclectic mix of music formats along with informational and entertainment programming.
