A pedestrian was killed on the off-ramp of Interstate 15 onto Sahara Avenue early this morning when he was struck by a vehicle, authorities said.
The collision occurred at 2:15 a.m. and the ramp was closed for nearly four hours, Nevada Highway Patrol trooper Joseph Fackrell said.
It was unclear what the man was doing on the freeway ramp, Fackrell said.
The man died at the scene. His name will be released by the Clark County Coroner's Office.
Fackrell said the driver of the Saturn vehicle that struck the man doesn't appear to be at fault and no criminal charges are expected.
