Nevada Republican Lt. Gov. Brian Krolicki has won a second term.
Krolicki defeated Democratic Reno City Councilwoman Jessica Sferrazza (sfer-AH'-zah).
She's a daughter of former longtime Reno mayor Pete Sferrazza.
With about half the precincts counted, Krolicki was ahead 52 percent to 42 percent.
Ryan Fitzgibbons of the Independent American Party had 4 percent, and 3 percent voted for "none of these candidates."
Krolicki had considered seeking the GOP Senate nomination that Sharron Angle eventually won for the chance to challenge Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.
But he decided in March to seek re-election to his current post and his role as the state's top advocate for Nevada tourism.

I'm a bit surprised that Krolicki was re-elected Lt. Governor. Part of the job is "Chairman, Nevada Economic Development". While conservatives were busy blaming Harry Reid, Krolicki was the highest state official in charge of diversifying our economy. He obviously failed. So much for voting out the incumbents. Well, maybe he'll get it right in this four-year term.
This person and position is a complete sham. Where's the plan to diversify Nevada's economy post the nationalization of gaming and construction hangover? Oh, that's right, there isn't one. Even after four years. Time for another trip to China. Maybe bring back another Wal-Mart.
